A professional wedding photographer’s role is to capture al of the key moments in a wedding day. Much of these are what you’d expect – the ring exchange, the kiss, the cake-cutting, the first dance etc. But whereas some wedding photographers might just work to this kind of checklist, an observational reportage wedding photographer spends the whole day taking pictures of all the moments in between. Indeed, many of my clients tell me that the pictures they treasure are the ones where I’ve caught the little moments, many of which the couple themselves didn’t observe. Reliving your wedding day isn’t just about looking back at your own day, but the day that all your friends and family had too.
