One of the most important, iconic moments in a traditional wedding is hen the bride walks down the aisle, the groom nervously waiting. You always have to choose who to focus on, the bride or groom (although the solution to that is to take lots of shots, some with the bride in focus, some with the groom). This is a wedding photograph I am really happy with because compositionally it’s really well balanced, the shallow dept of field puts the bride and father nicely out of focus, and the timing is just right. Throughout a wedding, much of the photographer’s job is being in the right position at the right moment with the right composition in mind. I think this is a good example of that.
